Day 13 and today was the day of the Full Moon Beach Party, so in the morning we didnt do an awful lot, chilled out by the sea, played some frisbie and cards etc. We had dinner with a large group of other travellers from our bungalows, (some Irish guys who Helen couldnt understand). We had dinner and then started the drinking! We bought 2 bottles of Whisky and Rum for a combined 2.10 pounds, and it was awesome. We spent next few hours eating and drinking and then about 10pm 15 of us crammed into a pickup truck and drove about 30 mins to Haad Rin. When we got there, it was loaded with lights, people and drink. Everywhere you looked people were trying to sell us buckets of whisky and rum, it was awesome. We hit the beach and about 10,000 people were there. A beach never looked so good. I got pretty drunk and had all sorts of horrible drinks. There were lots of people being sick and some sandcastles covering some drunk people who had passed out. We eventually left about 6-7am and got back in daylight with the sun coming up. Luke broke his camera on the drive back. He fell asleep in the taxi (a pick up truck) and slid off his seat round a corner, landing on the camera. The screen is cracked badly. He wasn't to impressed.
Day 14 and we literally did nothing all day, everyone was exhausted from the night before. Lots of water, lots of sleep, nothing else to write about.
Day 15 and we hired a Jeep to drive around the island, about 2 pound each per person. We drove north to Had Yao and layed on a beach and used some resorts swimming pool where Burns demonstrated his immense Diving Skills. It was like watching Pearl Heenan, for those of you who watch Soccer AM! We drove to Haad Rin for the evening and had some drinks on the beach, ate some brilliant seafood for dinner and then slept on the beach for a while before driving home.
Day 16 and we woke up to the biggest thunderstorm ever! Hour or so after it had finished we got in the Jeep and drove north east to Ao Thong Nai Pan where we chilled again on a beach and swam in the sea. I stupidly cut my foot swimming over some rocks which meant blood was pouring out as I swam to shore, I had to lie down as the bleeding wouldnt stop! I now have it tapped up in a massive bandage. We have driven home to our resort and are going to pack up as we are heading to Koh Tao tmoro.
