Day 5 began at 8am with us getting on a mini bus with 2 other people (Henrik and Josephine, from Sweden) and we headed for a local waterfall and national park. We all went in swimming which was cool, and then got back on the bus and got dropped off in the mountains. We then headed off on our 2 hour walk with our very funny and excentric guide 'Yute'. Day 4 and we didnt do an awful lot for this day and a half, just wandered around and waiting for the 10pm night train. Journey was surprisingly good, had own pod bed and window. Slept well and watched the world go by as the sun rose. We got to Chiang Mai in beautiful sunshine, checked into our Hostel and hence, the rain came (every day its rained so far!). We are now booking our 3 day trek with bamboo rafting and elephant riding just 2 of the activities.
