From Carcross, we drove to the Watson Lake area, spending the night in Nugget City. Dinner was in the Wolf It Down restaurant next to the RV Park. The cook was a real character! Very gruff and rough-and-ready. When Pat ordered a beer, he complained that it was all the way over on the other side of the dining room in a cooler. Pat said he would get it and off the cook went. The next table ordered a beer also and when the cook brought it, he pulled out his shirt and used it to twist off the cap. Glad it wasn't my beer! The whole evening was very entertaining - not sure if it was a show for the tourists or just his nature.
