In Grande Prairie, we stayed in a lovely RV park right in the middle of town. It was nestled in a gulley with walking trails and a park - really well used. Unfortunately, we also had our first really negative experience in an RV park. One night we left our wet shoes outside the door on a mat under the awning. This morning, Pat's quite new runners were gone (complete with custom orthotics) and a ratty pair left behind. Holes on the soles, twine for laces and strips of plastic bags holding the uppers to the soles. Obviously, he needed the new shoes more, but he could have left the orthotics behind! He's likely got a sore back from them by now. We did enjoy a visit to the Museum/Tourism Centre. They had some very interesting displays!
