As is typical for me on the second night with a major time change, I didn't get much sleep. Even with a sleep aid, I was wide awake until just before it was time to get up. No fun.
These next few days, my entries will be brief, as it is mostly work. This morning, I headed down to the ballroom where 180 bright eyed and excited Analysts and Consultants were checking in for the 5 day session. Most of the Analysts are newly graduated from various universities around India, so they are happy to be starting their new careers.
I had a 1.5 hour presentation that I co-presented with another colleague from California. We had some great participation and the entire ballroom was engaged, so that was fun. Then, since I had so little sleep, I headed to my room for a 1 hour nap. It was either that or falling asleep at 7p, and while that sounded good, I knew it wouldn't help my sleep pattern The last activity for the day, was "Guess the Leader". We had been asked for a picture of us when we were little and each table had to guess who was who. I have attached my pic (thanks to my sister Janis) and everyone said mine was the easiest!
My evening was nice and quiet. I enjoyed some light dinner at the Executive lounge and then headed to bed. Hoping for a better nights sleep!
