Due to the physical activities from yesterday, it was an early bedtime last night. Which meant an early wake up this morning. Since I was awake, I decided to do sunrise yoga on the beach at 6:15am. The sun was just coming up over the mountains, and what better way to welcome it but to do the Sun Salutation overlooking the beach. OK, maybe sitting on the lanai with a big cup of coffee and a danish, but that would come later. Ken, on the other hand opted for the coffee and newspaper on the lanai (no danish).
After yoga it was breakfast in the club, then water aerobics (for me) and more newspaper and relaxing (for Ken). While the water aerobics wasn't taxing, but it was a good way to get some local food/activity recommendations from the instructor while we were doing scissor kicks in the water.
One of her recommendations was to hit Costco for local items. So we did! Guess what, pizza is 1.99 and hot dog/drink is 1.50 just like on the mainland. Lunch for 3.50...what a deal! Plus, we got stuff that we had seen in stores for a MUCH better price. We also picked up some wine for us to enjoy on our lanai. The glass of wine you saw in my picture from yesterday cost $16. We got a bottle for $20! Love it. Nothing like going to Kauai and hitting Costco for souvenirs.
The afternoon was for Ken to get physical at the gym, while I took it easy listening to cool music and reading. For evening, we had a wonderful dinner at Keoki's Paradise about 3 miles in towards town. It was in a beautiful setting, with lots of flowers, tiki torches and Hawaiian type decor. The food was primarily seafood, and we were able to try some really good local fish. I won't be providing the names as I had never heard of them before and the names were so odd that I can't even begin to reproduce them. Service, food, beverages and ambiance sitting amidst the garden lit by tiki torches was excellent.
Early to bed due to an early start tomorrow for hiking!

Kathy Sounds like you all are having a great time. I have really enjoyed reading about all of your adventures. Maybe Ken will get lots of rest and not come back grumpy!!!
