Hola chicos!,
Can´t believe it´s been just over a week since we arrived. We´ve done so much already it´s tiring just thinking about it!
Decided we´d had enough of Buenos Aires last Monday - it´s a pretty noisy and hectic city and to be honest neither of us felt that comfortable when walking the streets, lots of staring and dodgy characters and stories of nasty muggings so we decided to head south and bought ourselves a bus ticket to Puerto Madryn, but not before we had a chance to see the crazy little suburb or La Boca in Buenos Aires.
It´s meant to represent the whole city and it´s where the famous Boca Juniors have their football stadium which tim was really excited about. All the houses are made of colourful corregated iron and there´s tango in the streets and lovely little restaurants. We sat down to have a beer and watch this professional couple dance when suddenly the guy jumped into the crowd and pulled me up to dance with him! It was so embarassing - me with my clumpy walking sandals on and him being about 5´2" trying to bend me backwards and twirl me round, haha! The footwork is so fast when you watch the professionals I felt ridiculous (Tim got a good video though that I guess we´ll put up when we can work out how!). Had the best meal we´ve ever had in a tiny restaruant we found too, the steak actually melted in your mouth!
Then it was off to the bus station to catch the Don Otto bus, 17hours (or so we thought) south to Puerto Madryn!
