A year ago, the bucket girls — Strawberry, Melon and Lemon — reunited on a small and peaceful island in the Philippines called Camiguin, the "Island Born of Fire". This island is home to seven volcanoes that continue to shape and reshape its unique landscape. It has numerous waterfalls, natural springs, unspoiled beaches and diving spots that will please adventurous travelers. Here, you can find the mysterious Sunken Cemetery which continues to fascinate travelers from all over the world as well as the scenic white sand bar with powdery fine sand, known as the White Island. Camiguin is still a bit off-the-beaten-path for travelers, but you bet, first-time travelers will enjoy its unspoiled sights and local hospitality.

Strawberry and Melon barged onto the island first along with their matey Gin. They went on basking in the glory of this island while waiting for Lemon to show up. Well, needless to say, Lemon, who had never been home for quite some time, gave precedence to seeing her family first before anyone else. Two days later, the buckets at long last met, roamed around on the island while getting in touch with the islanders, and looked for edibles to eat. They also spent a wearying day-long boat tour, which somehow made them feel a bit perturbed.

This reunion, as another fella would describe it, was sort of exigent; so many things happened that were unplanned. For case in a point, the presence of Gin, whose pure intention was to accompany Melon who, prior to the reunion, felt anxious of traveling alone, stunned Strawberry. Also, Lemon's late arrival was not pre-figured, which quite saddened Strawberry who expected the former to take good care of her while being there. To top it all was the emotionally draining incidence at Sunken Cemetery that sparked a little emotional dust-up between Strawberry and Lemon. Lemon, of course, did not intend to leave Strawberry alone in that secluded place empty-handedly. While Strawberry was enjoying snorkeling, Lemon thought of returning the rented motorcycle to Benoni first to ensure it would be returned in time, and so she went out her way. Unfortunately, she encountered 3 checkpoints, taking her too long to get back to Strawberry. Sad to say, it was too late for her to realize that she could have asked Gin to fetch Strawberry for her. On her way back to Sunken, she saw Strawberry walking down the alley feeling irked and tearful. Lemon was completely stunned by the emotions going around and unable to explain what exactly happened on her way. Then, there was silence. They all chose to be on their own for a moment.

Lemon sighed woefully. As she was about to walk out, Strawberry stood in her way and gave her a fine, comforting hug. Though no words were uttered, there was a feeling of relief!

To my bucket girls, thank you for the unexpected friendship. Well, it's pretty normal for friends to argue or even feel irked. What makes the friendship solid is the fact that we have all decided to settle our little issues and rise above any storm.

To Strawberry, thank you for not hating me when I'm at my terrible dispositions and for not giving up on our friendship. You are the best stranger that this Khao San Queen has ever rubbed shoulders with since the past six years. Who would have thought that through a bucket we could build a strong friendship in a random, hopeless place? By the way, do you remember the time we spent in Cebu? I really wanted to hug you for being sorry for what had happened on the island but I just couldn't do it. The least I did as an idiot was to SMILE! Haha! I know that you know me better than anyone else, and I know that despite the complications and distance, we always hold on to our friendship. Thank you for being the stranger that brought the bucket across the Pacific Ocean!
