Cameron Highlands has the same climate as the UK in early Autumn so was nice not to be sweating for a change. 1st early start at 7am to go on a 4.5 hr jungle walk. Just the two of us and the guide which was great. On the walk we saw fresh puma prints which was exciting, butterflies, birds and wild man eating pigs (made the last bit up).
The following day was a 5am start to reach the highest point in Cameron Highlands at 6666ft in time for sunrise. Moved on to explore the Mossy forest. We felt like we were in scene from Harry Potter and the Forbidden Forest- v spooky. The guide then drove us down the mountatin to see the BOH tea plantations. Arrived back in the town in time for breakfast! Found a great cafe where we had lunch and afternoon tea-scones and proper tea never tasted sooo good. Another early night in preparation for an 7am start- Penang here we come...
