Having overslept today, we woke up hoping for sunshine, following the tropical storms yesterday. Thankfully, the sun was out, and so we all quickly packed our towels and swimming attire and raced for the beach. We decided to head to Red Frog Beach, a national park home to those poison dart red frogs you see in those national geographic documentaries. To get to the beach we had to walk through the rainforest an so we looked and yet didnt manage to spot any! On arriving at the beach, the excitement was overwhelming, one persons in particular. Layla decided to run towards the sea in fits of laughter, forgetting how to use her feet until her face met the sand. Ray bans in the air, sand in eyes and mouth, we helped her up and decided to walk briskly, but calmly until we picked a spot.
The beach itself was pretty cool, the waves were huge, and so most of the day was spent playing by the shore. The highlight was probably watching the girls come in, clutching onto every part of their bikini for dear life, and shrieking with every break of the waves.
It was decided that the evening would be a relaxing one, having 'raved' for the previous 2 nights in a row. However, on walking to dinner, we happened to find out about a 'full moon party' happening at playa mango. The full moon party in Thailand, isn't so much a party, but more of an experience (Sean describes it as one of the new 7 wonders of the world), and so it was decided. We had to go.
Stopping off at mondo taitu once again, we were soon dancing on the tables and having a good time! Then we got into a jeep taxi ( with about 20 other Americans) and took one of the funniest and most ridiculous taxi journeys ever to playa mango. What is it with panama and fitting as many people in a car as possible?!
