The recommended hostel was Mondo Taitu, but in all honesty, when we got there it looked abit like what one would call...a skip? Literally it was like a pile of wood all nailed together into a form of a shack. So we decided to have a browse around town incase anything better popped up. Thankfully, we found a 6 bed dorm just down the road in hotel brisas. When checking in however, we were upgraded (once again!!!!) to the 6 person apartment with a balcony straight on the water! It is the epitome of a beach pad, the ultimate surf shack! ( Layla's calling it the penthouse suite LOL). the rest of the day was spent on our private balcony, chilling with a bottle of rum and red cups (yes, red cups!) enjoying the island life.
In the evening, we went to the famed Aqua Lounge on the neighbouring island ( via a water taxi), and pretty much raved the night away! I have a good feeling about bocas!
