Just touched down in Ushuaia! The southernmost town in the world, the edge of civilization!!! The flight with aerolineas Argentinas was faaar better than Iberia. We are staying at La Posta hostel at what was supposedly a 4 bed dorm, however we have been upgraded to the private cabin, all set with a living room, kitchen and ski cupboard! And underfloor heating!!! The family that runs the hostel is ridiculously nice, the mother is making us breakfast tomorrow mor...

Following the phantom flight drama and Jess' angry Transatlantic calls to STA, we set up tent in the tango district of buenos aires- San Telmo, in the small 'America del sur' hostel. So after arriving at the domestic airport to catch the flight to Ushuaia, we are told that the flight in fact...doesnt exist. Jess is angry, in Irish, and looking for a phone ( she keeps repeating the phrase 'I'm reversing the charges'), Suraj is sleeping, and nomes is eating croissants. Just touched down in Buenos Aires! It was a 12 Hr flight with iberia airlines- no inflight entertainment, no leg room, and an elderly passenger alien to the concept of personal space. On take off everyone around me said a prayer, and on landing there was a resonating round of applause- were not in London anymore. Let the journey begin!! :D
