Finally touched down in panama, and the now the sweats start. Adjusting from ice cold conditions to 75% humidity is going to prove to be difficult. Nonetheless, we arrived to our little hostel, the Villa Vento Surf shack, right in the middle of the Marbella district. We had originally booked a private room but somehow we got placed in the mix dorms. Our dormmate looked like Dobby to be quite frank, and it was all very surreal. Having stumbled back home around 6, we had a few hours sleep before it was time to get up again and explore buenos aires by day! First things first though, Argentinian steak had to be sampled! We ate at a small little authentic restaurant called la Dorita, and the steak spoke for itself. Words cannot describe how amazing it was, the best 600g of beef I've ever had. After bidding farewell to Ushuaia, we arrived back in Buenos Aires around 8pm, and it was off to the next hostel! In the San Telmo district of town. So what can I say about Augur Hostel. Today was the planned boat trip along the beagle channel, and also to the worlds last lighthouse! However, winds from the north the night before had pretty much wreaked havoc throughout the whole town! 5 boats or so had capsized overnight, and one of the 2 main tourist boats had washed up ashore!! The sight must have been crazy, but it was too windy to go outside and have a look!

The nights activities were a planned excursion into the forest through various means of winter related transport. We started off on husky sleds !
