The alarm went off at 5.15AM this morning as we had to catch the 6.00AM shuttle (cattle truck) to the ferry terminal. Arrived at reception to find that the shuttle wasn't going until 6.30AM. We had booked to go on a waterfall trip to the southern end of the island as well as some more snorkelling. The chap that was to take us had a family bereavement (so he said) and was very apologetic. We had booked a day on the water today which began after buffet breakfast with a walk to the jetty. Our boat was fairly small but crewed with some young Malaysian lads, probably only 20 years old. Awoke to another lovely day with a nice beach view. Had a buffet breakfast in the enormous dining area also overlooking the pool and beach. Then off for a swim in the sea which was warmer than the pool. I'm sure it was over 30degC. Sue booked a scuba dive for the afternoon and Lisa and I walked into Tekek.
