Well after recovering from the Lares trek and the excitement of Machu Picchu we barely had time to catch our breaths before getting on the most touristy bus ever and making our way to Puno, on Lake Titicaca. Another early start and we were off! The journey was about 7hours and took in the Altiplano and surrounding towns as well as an Inca site and the old gates of Cusco. Well I survived the 4 days Lares Valley trek! Day one started at 5am!! (its becoming the norm now haha) and hopped on a bus to the start point of the trek! Well ended up leaving San Pedro on Monday night as Tuesdays bus was full and made our way to Arequipa, Peru!! Journey was nowhere near as comfortable as last coach, which on refelection was prob the equivelant of flying first class! This time we were def back to economy with a bang! haha.
