Well am now back in Phnom Penh after spending past few days soaking up the sun in Sihanoukville and Koh Rong Island (Paradise Island if you google it hahaha) and it was thee most stunning island I have ever seen! Was about 2 and a half hours from Sihanoukville by a rickety old boat and when you arrived the place was surrounded by clear blue water and white sand! The buildings were all wooden beach huts and the island only has electricity from 6:30 pm until 10pm! Its a busy diving island so and when I say busy I mean there were about 4 people diving and the 7 of us haha. So we had the entire beach and sea basically to ourselves! Lazed about soaking up the rays and swimming in the sea watching the fish swim past! All food was included with the accommodation which was as expected beyond basic haha the dorm style room all came with their own mosquito nets plus a healthy selection of cockroaches, geckos, and rats hahaha so def one night in that accommodation was long enough haha but the peacefulness of the beach and the atmosphere certainly made up for it!

Last night said goodbye to Umie:(been travelling together for almost 4 weeks now so was sad to leave but guess that's the whole point of travelling to meet people and then go your own way. Left Tom, Rich and Mel in Sihanoukville too as they headed north and me, Carmel and Rebecca headed back to Phnom Penh for Rebecca to catch her flight home tomorrow and me and Carmel then to make our way to Southern Thailand and island hop! Its a hard life! Think plan of action is we get bus to Bangkok on Saturday morning (wanted to avoid Bangkok but isn't really possible) and then head down to Phucket and start visiting islands from there!!

Hope its not too cold back home am just about to head for a shower to cool down haha!
