Well am now in southern Cambodia in Sihanoukville! It is on the Gulf of Thailand coast so beaches are amazing! (will put pictures on as soon as can get good internet connection)
Left Siem Reap on Saturday on another 12hour bus journey! Was sooooo uncomfortable and air conditioning made it freezing cold! Not pleasant at all so on arrival in Sihanoukville after finding accommodation headed to bar and food haha was in need of a much needed drink! Meet up with Carmel, Rebecca, Tom and Rich as well as some new people here too; Mel (who thinks am a travel-size person hahaha haven't ever been called that before haha), Joel and Chris so have been having great times with them too (mainly drinking haha)
Last day in Siem Reap wandered around the old town and though all the markets was really nice but soooo warm couldn't stay out all day! Last night there we then headed to have a FISH MASSAGE! Was really weird where the fish eat all the dead skin off of your feet (sounds rank I know). After you get over the thought that fish are eating your feet it then becomes quite relaxing! And one comment kinda summed it up its like sticking your feet in Pepsi! haha.
Early night was had then (just for a change) as needed to be up at 5am for bus!:(not good at all!
Sihanoukville has definitely been worth the bus journey though! Lazing about on beach in middle of November is very veyr different to the usual walking to lectures in rainy and cold Dundee haha (I wonder what Id rather be doing hahaha) Could definably get used to this life haha and have another couple of weeks of just lazing around, although will need to get on bus again sadly albeit to head for other beaches in Thailand haha.
Not sure that there will be much to update as see next few weeks as pretty much being the same but shall try and keep this updated on all the hectic goings on over here!
Love
xxxxx
