On leaving Washington, we visited Mount Vernon. Very pretty estate - not what I expected. Onwards to the Potomac Mills - 'mericans are not great at road signs. Then we pootled down to Williamsburg, somewhat slower than anticipated. Why did no one warn me about refuelling??!
