We have travelled the length of the Blue Ridge from mile 0 to mile 386 It has been breathtaking and at times, panic inducing! It is a dream come true in so many ways. Minor hiccup with a flooded hotel room but we have a free stay as a result! Photos upload in the am. Time to sleeps... zzzzz

Had a fab day wandering around Downtown Asheville, thru Chimney Rock and onto Lake Lure for late lunch with our fab fiend and his youngest girlie. Tried a new beer - still yuk and Ruth enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich. And we drove through (the) Bat Cave
