Yesterday was our last day stateside. After packing up we went to the Cheesecake Factory to meet a friend for a drink. We had lunch & pudding a few hours apart, with the obligatory mall perusing to walk the food down. Then the airport & plane to Blighty. Washington to Charlotte: 4246 miles

So school is out for summer and my hair has had something done to it. Just need to finish packing, and dithering!! Only one sleep to go!

Only 5 days to go... Yesterday we endeavoured to finalise our packing. It was takes longer than you think. All monies are ordered for collection on Saturday at the airport. Only minor problem is I appear to have dipped into my pre-ordered holiday meds pack. Thank goodness manchild goes past a chemist every day!
