Sunday 3rd June Journal entry brought to you by Tami (experiencing a lot of de-ja-vu) Caught the bus this morning to Taupo. Stopped at Huka Falls. Again. Checked into Tiki Lodge. Again. Oli and Amos also checked in there as opposed to Urban Retreat, so we got a room with them again, and James. Found out that Roy no longer works at the lodge, which we were quite sad about, as he'd been really sound to us last time we were there, giving us woolie hats and the like. However, he did pop into the hostel a bit later so we were able to catch up. Ended up having a massive debate about the strength of the British Pound and the merits of buying property in Taupo. A bit later on we went to Hell's Pizza to get dinner. Oli also had his first ever experience of hell. He was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the pizza was. We then all went out to get icecream from the garage. It's becoming a bit of a habit now, icecream late at night. But it's okay because we're going to be healthy in China. We think. Came back and read for a bit, then went to sleep. Uneventful day.
