Dobar-dan to our friends. Thank you for taking the time to read our third Kids blog entry. We would love to hear back from you. Thanks for the messages we have already received. There are some new pictures and videos that we hope you can view. We are still in Croatia and have been visiting lots of different places; especially those with playgrounds. We have explored some fabulous ancient cities that were built by the Romans. We heard a huge organ that made tunes when the waves washed through it. We have been swimming everyday as well as exploring the rock pools for crabs and fish and we even saw an octopus that changed colour as it swam along. We usually camp outside of the small towns (many don't have roads in them) and either walk in or ride our bikes. Sometimes we catch the bus in and today we caught the ferry boat. Yesterday we hired a paddle/peddle boat and voyaged around the inlet where we are camped. We are reading everyday; Dad has finished reading Snugglepot and Cuddlepie to us; we are now re-reading Charlotte's Web and next will be the Water Babies. We have also been laughing at the 'Asterix' comic books and filling out our travel journals when we can. We have met children from all around Europe. We sometimes haven't been able to understand each other as we speak different languages although this hasn't stopped us playing together and communicating a little bit. Most children here are already learning a second or third language. You can see pictures of some of the fun things we have been doing. We have been on paddle boats and electric cars; and we have sailed a yacht that we made and a hydrofoil that we built out of big water bottles. We drove our motorhome (TITO the KETTLE VAN) all the way along the coast of Croatia including through a five kilometer long tunnel. We miss you and are thinking of you.
