I am currently in Anthem Arizona, check out the map! I was actually able to zoom into the exact street I am currently living on... I can't remember my last update but incase I didn't already mention, this past Sunday, my cousin Alysia and her boyf Jason helped me to surprise my grandparents...
In a nutshell, Alysia had been telling Nanny and Poppy that she had a surprise for them... Everyone was convinced she was getting engaged or was pregnant or something... Anyhoo so on Sunday we arrived for dinner, as planned... Alysia walked in by herself first to make sure everyone was there (grandparents/aunt). Mom had already called Poppy for a 'casual chat' - so she could be in on it too.... Alysia said that Jason was taking a bit longer because he'd forgotten something in the car... Then Nanny conveniently decided she needed to use the restroom!... So we waited... THEN once Nanny returned the three of us walked in together, me hiding behind the two of them, with my camera in hand, recording all this in action, I casually came out from behind and Nanny just went "Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and covered her hands over her face.... She couldn't believe it! Alysia and I were just laughing our guts out... Meanwhile I think Poppy was wondering who the good looking woman was who had just entered the room - as he spoke to mom on the phone - there appeared to be a bit of confusion on his face from where I stood!!
Haha
Anyway!! It doesn't come out as well in my story telling - however, when i get the change I'm going to upload it on here or something. I caught it on camera. It was a crack up! No heart attacks were sustained, so that's all that matters! LoL
To update on my adventures:
12 MARCH
Alysia and I went to her boyfs parents house to go ride the four wheelers or .... ATVs (all terrain vehicles....haha!!) through the dusty rocky cacti filled hills behind their house!! (Mind you, this was AFTER he took me for a SCARY ride is his mom's CORVETTE... unfortunately the Mercedes was not there for the test drive too... Maybe next time!)
As for the fourwheelers, they were great fun... What made it even more enjoyable was knowing how JEALOUS my little brothers would have been had they known what I was doing that afternoon.... hehe .... I managed to keep safe (but not clean!) and Alysia somehow managed to get herself bogged in the dusty, loose rocks... AND narrowly miss a tree/near death experience.. But other than that, a good time was had by all! :) Unfortunately no photos were taken DURING the event, due to improper Risk Assessment of the outing... Unfortunately my digital camera did not have the correct PPE (personal protection equipment).. ha! However, a couple POST-'all-terrain'-experience photos will be posted SOON....
