Ahoy from Arizona!
Yes, I am alive ... and YES I have been busy!
Today was my FIRST DAY at my new job.... However, I'll fill you in on some background stuff first... :)
THe past three weeks have mainly been consumed with spending a great deal of time on the computer putting various resumes together and applying for jobs through a large employment site monster.com - much to my luck - I seemed to get a positive response and scored two interviews within a week of posting resumes...
After a very stressful 72 hours of perparing from one interview to the other... I had some time to relax over the weekend (5 June). I had already been accepted to one position with the University of Phoenix Online, it was a call centre job.
However, a few days later I got a call from the 2nd company offering me the role of Document Control Specialist, which I interviewed for 5 days prior.
This is a very big achievement for me... It is a great opportunity with a nation-wide Program and Contruction Management Firm. Althought it is temporary, there is a good chance it will develop into something more permanent.
Anyhoo.... I'm sure this is putting you all to sleep...
Moral to the story is, if it were not for the INVALUABLE, enriching experience I gained through working with TAFE NSW Riverina Institute, this job would not have been mine... In fact, they never would have even given my resume a 2nd glance, afterall, it was THEY who contacted ME in the first place.
My first day of work went fabulously and I look forward to continuing on for the next 14 weeks....

OTHER EXCITING NEWS
On Friday 8 June Nanny and I went to the Keith Urban concert here in Phoenix.
ITWASAWWWWWWWSOME!
I nearly cried a few times... SPeically after the encore... The crowd cheered for two minutes straight, the whole 20k person filled stadium was aglow with blue and white cellular phone screens waving back and forth... After he emerged, the camera zoomed close into his face, he was very touched, and had tears in his eyes.. Ohh it nearly makes me cry thinking about it.
He is such an unbelievable performer... So talented. He and his band played for two hours straight.
Nanny and I fully prepared, in the 3 hours prior to leaving - I made a big "Hug Me I'm AUSSIE" poster, on the reverse side was the aussie flag... (It was sooo cool, i'm so proud of my cut out skills, which haven't been used since primary school!)
He saw my poster a couple times, and smiled at me...
Yes, keith and I made eye contact.
LoL hahahaha well i think so at least.
we were very close the the runway that came down the middle of the floor....
bla bla... I could go on forever.
Look out for video footage and some photos soon........
and go buy his cds and dvd... lol i love him.
Anyway
I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired from my big hard working day. ;)
I must go. No more staying up til 3am for me!

I hope you are all very well - please drop me a line, I promise to reply.
P.s. i got a car on the weekend, but it died the next day. Please say your prayers for me.
Love always and ever
