Michael & Katrina's travels
Day 15
Travelling along the Eyre highway the first thing you see as you approach a town is the huge grain silos towering above the trees. Almost all the small settlements seem to have one, accompanied by a railway siding to transport it off to market. Grain is stored until the prices are favourable to sell.
Took a drive after setting up tent down to a place called Sceale bay which was pretty.
Staying in a small seaside village called Streaky Bay. It started raining as we were walking back from the local hotel and didn't stop all night.
Distance: 387km
Overnight: Streaky Bay Foreshore Reserve
