Ok so the reality of this adventure kicked in this morning. Bags are packed and a nervous excitement came over me when I jumped in the car! I'm actually doing this. All the preperation done, its time to see where this adventure takes me. Bring it on. Drove to Auckland with Nathan which was great and now I find myself checked in and waiting... departure has been delayed but that's ok as the excitment of the adventure was high. Sydney here I come! Well the number of days until I leave for the adventure is getting less. 16 days to go! I can't remember when I last rode a horse, I will struggle initially I am sure of it... Nothing like a winter off riding and heading to a station in Western Australia to be in the saddle for countless hours! The rain continues to fall here and the temperatures are just starting to turn for the cooler... hard to think where I'm heading to will be the dry season and 30+ degrees

Its happening... Flights are booked and paid for... Station clothing has arrived... Josiah has confirmed his travel arrangments, its all happening. Have booked a nights accommodation in each of the following Kununurra 8 June, Darwin 14 July, Melbourne 19 July. Still yet to book a campervan for the Alice Springs leg of the trip... So excited for what lies ahead.
