Well Kununarra is stunning. Rural but not, seems like a town that everyone calls into. Lots of 4wd and campervans stopping etc. Visited the market this morning, surprised to find unpolished diamonds at the market amongst other things. By the time I left Darwin she had grown on me. Although rather warm it's actually a lovely place. Took a trip into Darwin. Initial thoughts weren't flash, but then I really didn't know what to expect! Glad I went into town, got my winter white legs out as it got warm... cruised the streets for a bit and then ended up at Crocosaurus Cove. Met the crocodile off of Crocodile Dundee, or so they said. This is one vast country. Flying over this arid land is mind blowing. Brown, and did I mention vast! The odd house in the middle of what appears to be nowhere. Glimpses of water. Made it to Sydney. So far so good. The cowboy hat made me a target for quarantine. Thankful that all bags are accounted for. All riding equipment sprayed and disinfected.
