With only a few more days before my first big adventure in a camper trailer, the preparation is continuing.

I purchased a Patriot X1 a few months ago, and planned to test drive it on a couple of small adventures.

However, all my plans fell in a hole due to personal reasons.

I've been slowly making modifications to the camper to suit my needs.

Since I will be travelling alone, I need to be able to set it up and pack it down quickly and single handed. A few practice runs and I was getting the times down to about 20mins.

I decided the original awning was not to my liking, it was too cumbersome, so I purchased a Darche 270 Eclipse. A great awning, but I had to make some modifications to mount it to the camper.
