I woke up around 6am.
As there was nothing to pack up, I was on the road around 6:15am.
The Hume Highway is an easy drive, but quite boring. By 8ish I was beginning to feel a bit tired. I stopped at one of the rest stops for about 10 mins, and felt quite refreshed.
As I was nearing Holbrook, I decided I needed a comfort break, so the submarine beckoned my call.
I was back on the road about 9:30ish still heading south.
Wodonga was my next stop. I didn't need fuel, but I topped up the tank anyway. I was also feeling a bit peckish, so a little café was suggested by the lady in the servo. Fifty Bean Street served me up a great mid morning breakfast.
I made it to just past Benalla around midday, and was beginning to feel tired again. I pulled into a rest stop, and had a 15 min power nap in the passenger seat. It was very refreshing, and I felt wonderful.
The rest of the journey to Sunbury was uneventful and I made it to my mother's house about 2:30pm.
It's always nice to finish driving!
