Hey everyone!! We've been busy!!

Monday 19th - We walked up Mt Victoria in Wellington - it was harder than we expected!! Lovely view from the top and then found a shortcut down!

Tuesday 20th - Checked out of our hostel in Wellington and got the ferry to Picton on the South Island. Already could feel it's colder here, sat by the fire and had chocolate pudding and icecream!

Wednesday 21st - We had breakfast and went for a walk along the waterfront, it was wet and drizzly. We then got the Intercity bus to Kaikoura. We saw a huge seal colony on the way in.

Thursday 22nd (yesterday) - We went in to town, it is only small but has some nice shops. We then went whale watching!! The sea was rough but we managed to see four Sperm Whales. They were beautiful. The weather was still misty so couldn't see the mountains in the background.

Friday 23rd (today) - Oh my God the weather is awful!! We haven't left the hostel yet!! We plan to walk into town at some point but may just stay infront of the fire!
