It's ANZAC day here!! We watched the parade this morning. The streets were hectic and the pub opposite our hostel was open when we woke up at 7.30am!! The weather hasn't been very good today so we went to the aquarium which was really good. We then walked round Darling Harbour and had a nice lunch. We went to Paddy's Market and Chinatown this evening, then got a hot chocolate.

Today we did our laundry!! It was a task that took us about two hours!! We also made time to go to Bondi Beach - it was lovely. We spent a couple of hours on the beach but as it wasn't too sunny we did the walk from Bondi to Coogee. This sounds easier than it was, we did struggle!! We had our day trip to the Blue Mountains today so another early start! We left our hotel at 7.15am. We stopped off at the Olympic Stadium which was like it's own little town, just hope England match up to this in 2012! Today we got the ferry to Manly Beach. Our ferry left at 11am and took half an hour. It was great to see the bridge and the opera house from the water. The weather was beautiful today so we decided to stop at a cafe along the beach and have an iced coffee. Tony - it had cream and icecream and has been our favourite so far!! We have arrived in Sydney!! Yesterday we had a lovely day. We went out for lunch in Bungendore, sat out in the sunshine and iced coffees with cream - we are addicted thanks to Tony!! On the way back we drove through Harrison!!! We stayed in last night eating pizza and watching Michael Jackson's This Is It, perfect end to a perfect week!
