Traveled by underground train to visit the Benaki museum (something I was really looking forward to) only to find it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! Today we got up & into the underground railway to visit Parliament & see the changing of the guards. The underground railway is really good here as we rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes for a train going anywhere we need. Sunday 26th Finally we awake to a day in Athens! The day is warm & sunny without a cloud in the sky. We get up early & head for the breakfast bar, but being Greece the breakfast isnt ready yet... Well, today we left London after a week of packed events! We booked out of the Harrington Gardens apartment which had served so well for Liz, Gran & Grandad. Last night we put Gran & Grandad onto the train to go to Carl & Damielle Hintons for 3 or 4 days and I had booked out of the Hilton Kensington that morning, leaving the CEA people to fly their way back to Australia.
