Waiting at Horseshoe Bay in the pouring rain for the ferry to the Sunshine Coast. We have Jody and Dave's mom with us for a little holiday. Crossed back into Canada today. Had a real crank in customs-welcome back! We made a stop to pick up some flowers and then went to Denise's grave. Saturday would have been her birthday. From there we went to visit her Mom. She is doing well and we had a nice visit. We ate at the Roadhouse in White Rock. Omg, I think they were at Moms garage sale, because they had the same tables and chairs in there. We are staying at Dave's folks for the next couple of nights. ...

We carried on heading north today, stopping at a couple of shops along the way. I had another highlight today-oyster lunch as fresh as you can get. The restaurant was right inside the oyster processing plant in Bay City. The oyster stew was loaded with oysters and was delicious-I definitely ate my fill. We are staying overnight in Centralia and will cross back into Canada tomorrow.

We only made it 120 miles up the coast today. This particular part of the Oregon coast is the most scenic part of the drive. You pass the Oregon dunes, jagged coastlines and panoramic views from hundreds of feet above the ocean. There are also a variety of galleries along the way and tourist spots like the sea lion caves.
