4/26/2015 Here we are barreling through the desert, heading into the REAL Death Valley. We just passed Creech AFB and Jeff says we are on the edge of Area 51. Wow! It was a little scary going through Death Valley National Park. The temperature was averaging about 87 so we were glad we were coming through at this time of year. We passed a sign that said "Devil's Cornfield" which really seemed to fit the landscape somehow. Made it to the Grand Canyon today! And covered some real nice territory along the way. I am just so impressed with New Mexico.
