Woke at 7 15 am and packed kit ready for a day of maintenance on the Bibb Track. Set off on my mountain bike for my start point (Bibb track hut) but soon found the hills to steep. Pushed bike about half way the 1.8 km maintenance track.

Most of my section was affected by fire a while back. There was lots of new growth so a good portion of track needed trimming. Lots of wood debri to be cleared too.

The 10 km round trip has a large hill in the middle and with temperatures in the 30s the going was hot and dusty.

Thankfully the mountain bike trip back was all downhill!
