This weekend it was time to push the envelope and do a longer ride on the Munda Biddi. We looked for something that was better to ride in a certain direction (ie mostly downhill!) - this was important because we were riding around Mundaring Weir territory which is very hiily!

We chose to ride from Pickering Brook to Mundaring Weir - about 24 km. The back half was certainly much more downhill - in fact if you were to attempt this section of track going in the other direction you would be pushing your bike for most of the first hour!

Anyway, completed the ride and during our final hill climb to the Mundaring Weir Hotel could almost taste the beer. Unbeknown to us, the pub was closed to concert patrons so we had to drive to the Rocke Inne on Brookton Highway. It was worth the wait though.

Still hanven't lost any blood on the Munda Biddi yet - I have managed to stay on the bike.
