Welcome to my first blog! It is 9 pm on a Thursday night and I just finished counting about a million stars. Why so many? Well, I am about 75kms from Perth camping out near White Horse Hills - no city lights - just me and the stars.

I am hoping to get an early start on my maintenance section of the Bibbulmun Track. I have around 12 kms to do.

Earlier this evening I rode some of the Munda Biddi trail near Pickering brook which was hard work in the heat.

I am lying in my tent now hoping for a cool evening breeze. Plenty of movement around me as the critters come out to feed and explore.
