Just finished shopping ready head out to Lamington NP.
After 4 days of conference food, fine dining on the Gold Coast and way too many beers and skinny flat whites it was time to get serious.
The menu was planned over a steak sandwich and Jim Bean & Cola literally a stones throw from the store's entrance!
The menu is not typically hiking due to the fact that most days are out and back walks. Being Easter there was only one official camp spot available for me on Sunday night. I have access to a car, so the plan is to find a remote and unofficial camping spot to lay my hat each night. This means I don't have to carry large amounts of food each day - hence the high portion of canned food (I have no access to a fridge or esky).
The total bill $54 including some containers to store food and wet wipes for the top and bottom orifice! It will be a good test to see if I can stick to the plan as the walk schedule is around 20 km per day.
Friday:
Breakfast - ex hotel
Lunch: rolls with spam, coleslaw & cheese
Dinner: pasta, sun dried tomatoes & feta
Saturday
Breakfast - yoghurt & fruit
Lunch: rolls with spam, coleslaw & cheese
Dinner: chunky soup & mashed spud
Sunday (camp out on trail)

Monday:
Breakfast - cereal & milk
Lunch: 2 minute noodles

Snacks:
Cheese, cranberries, fruit bars, rice cakes and some flavorings for my water as a treat
Happy hiking!
