Valencia - I didn't get any photos of Valencia, but this picture (nowhere near Valencia) looks nice anyway. We only had a short stay in Valencia, just enough time to eat, sit at a cafe sidewalk for 5 hours and then to sleep. Spain can be strange. They have this marvellous concept known as the 'siesta', where everything shuts down for 3 hours in the middle of the day and people rest, relax and enjoy a long lunch with friends. Then in the evening, it is dead, untill about 11pm and a few people start to come out then between 1 and 3am people are everywhere, and not just the young folk with a belly full of booze, but also, families with young children and young teenagers who are not causing trouble for a change. We sat at a sidewalk cafe and indulged in a favourite sport of mine for 5 hours - people watching. We watched the Spaniards do their thing between 10 and 3 in the morning before retiring to bed and setting off for Barcelona the next morning.
