Hola, from Madrid, Spain. After an exruciatingly nerveracking drive thorugh the streets and roads of Madrid is was great to finally find a car park and a bed to rest on. 2 nights were spent in Madrid and we enjoyed the fine cuisine that the city had to offer and also took in some of the historic sites and local shops. Madrid is a fascinating place in itself, however, it is really not overly attractive nor does it have the most pleasent smell! Not being the shopping type, I was excited to see what I assumed were Africans selling illeagal Cd's. I purchased a couple of these and was then shocked when the cloth that held the CDs was swept out from under me. In a language I could obviously not understand, I assumed I was being told to pay for the CDs I had. In the rush of all these illeagal street sellers I gave the man a mere 3 euros, for which I acquired Dido, Eminem and Linkin Park, quite a good deal I thought. It turned out they were operating some illeagal shady operation and the cops had turned up, too bad hey! I was upset to learn that Dido kept skipping on track 4! Madrid - Fascinating, but not the greatest of capital cities.
