What a busy few days, I'm finally packed thanks to the help of my mum and some serious rolling, and I'm off to the airport.

As most of you know I'm terrible at goodbyes and this was no different!! I even cried when I said goodbye to my cats . I didn't realise how hard this bit of the trip would be.

Well I got to the airport after having a lovely meal at Red. Backpack weighed 14.8kg, checked in and lots of tears.

Surprisingly my flight actually left on time which was a nice change. The problems started when I got toGatwick where I wondered aimlessly around the airport looking for the Heathrow bus, which I found eventually with the help of a also lost Spanish man.

I have finally arrive at my hotel very tired an dishirvelled and cursing my luggage choice (I am already missing my bag on wheels).

Also a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my amazing mum !!!
