27th July- Went to the postoffice this morning to mail back a couple of the things I have brought over the last month. 26th July- Had a great nights sleep due to the nice modern hotel and air con. Didn't want to get up. On the bus as we headed to the Turkish boarder. Drove for a couple of hours before a rest stop to spend the last of our Bulgarian money. Then another hour to the boarder. 25th July- Spent the morning walking around Sofia. Walked up to the ladies market. It was mostly fruit and veggies for sale with some clothes and other random produce in stalls on the side. They looked to be cheap Asian imports so didn't bother to buy anything. Walked along till I reached another pedestrian mall and then strolled through there. 24th July- Had an interesting sleep in the communists hotel. I think the mattress maybe original as you can feel the springs coming through.... They made up for it was a nice breakfast. Then on the bus as we headed towards nis, the second larger city in Serbia. Drove for a couple of hours before a quick break and then another hour till we reached Nis. 23rd July- Left Sarajevo at 730 and headed towards the board to Serbia. Drove for a couple of hours on small narrow roads through some pretty countryside with green mountains. Crossed over the boarder into Serbia and quickly changed some money into local currency..
