Arrival 10 minutes ahead of schedule at Oslo airport at 13:50. As Norway is outside of Schengen, we have to pick up our luggage and check it again for the connection flight.
We go to the indicated belt and wait for quite a long time there. No sign of our luggage. We think Svalbard may be considered as international and not domestic connection, so we fear we might never he our luggage here. But finally, our two bags are delivered on the belt !

We go to the upper floor, and drop our luggage for the next flight to Longyearbyen. There will be a technical stop at Tromso.

We finally find some place to get sandwiches, yoghurt and waffles :) The waitress even speaks a bit of French !

While we wait, O. makes some tests with our new GoPro camera.
We finally go to the gate and board the B737 heading to Longyearbyen via Tromso. Take off at 16:20.


















Approaching Tromso, the scenery turns beautiful with majestic lakes and fjords surrounded by gigantic mountains and glaciers. Beautiful weather.
Landing at 18:10. Just time to disembark, go through passport control - again ! - and we board the same plane for the last flight of the day to Svalbard and Longyearbyen.
