Can't even explain how tired I was when I got to my accomodation! I was the only non-Chinese person on the whole plane to Zhuhai - very strange experience - but it was nice. I had a conversation with a sweet guy sat next to me via his exceptionally patient who translated for us - he invited me to teach his son English and gave me his number and email address, etc., which was pretty cute! His friend called me 'beautiful English girl', which prompted another person...

Hasn't even sunk in that I'm in China, but that's probably because all I've done is sit in McDonalds and sleep uncomfortably across seats in the airport. Got a 15 hour wait for my next flight to Zhuhai where I'm staying and was going to go out and see Hangzhou city but after asking information desk staff where to get the city bus from I decided I was too tired to even contemplate going. Shame but I am here for six weeks so sure there will be plenty of time to see...

So happy because by luck I got a seat in the comfort section of economy class which meant extra room and spare cushions :) seriously needed the extra room though, I don't know how the rest of the plane coped! Even with it I had a guy sleeping almost on my shoulder, open mouth in my face the whole way (except when food came and he suddenly conveniently woke up). Made myself so at home on here.
