Can't even explain how tired I was when I got to my accomodation! I was the only non-Chinese person on the whole plane to Zhuhai - very strange experience - but it was nice. I had a conversation with a sweet guy sat next to me via his exceptionally patient who translated for us - he invited me to teach his son English and gave me his number…

Finally ready (ready?) to don my massive backpack and set off on my first trip alone. After a 30(ish?) hour plane journey I'll be left to fend for myself in China for six - hopefully wonderful - weeks! As much as I love my friends and family, I don't love them enough to pay a China-trip-induced phone bill (sorry guys); but i do want to ramble on about every exciting detail, so here's my present to you all instead. Enjoy reading, I'll try not to be too boring, and wish me luck :) xxx

Hasn't even sunk in that I'm in China, but that's probably because all I've done is sit in McDonalds and sleep uncomfortably across seats in the airport. Got a 15 hour wait for my next flight …
