So happy because by luck I got a seat in the comfort section of economy class which meant extra room and spare cushions :) seriously needed the extra room though, I don't know how the rest of the plane coped! Even with it I had a guy sleeping almost on my shoulder, open mouth in my face the whole way (except when food came and he suddenly conveniently woke up).

Made myself so at home on here. Courtesy of my personal entertainment system I watched a cracking episode of csi, followed by the mentalist, house, criminal minds and even cried to myself a little bit watching silver linings play book. Had to sort myself out in the loo so no one could see how sad I was aha. It's like a sleepover except with a plane full of people who don't realise they're on one.

Got over the sadness with a load of comfort food.. So much food! Drinks and snacks have been brought round pretty regularly and you can go help yourself so may have slightly over took advantage of that (is there such a thing?) but what happens on the plane stays on the plane so if I'm 8 pounds heavier in China then I have no idea why! Probably the difference in air pressure, or gravity, or something? (Ill come up with a better/more sound explanation after some sleep). Gotta get your money's worth though woooo.

Wedged in between two guys and witnessed the most disgusting misuse of butter spread ever. We've had two meals - actually just had breakfast even though my body clock believes its 12am. The guy next to me first dipped his crackers into the butter pot carrot-into-houmous style, and later when he was out of crackers just grabbed a spoon and ate it. Is this normal?? If this is a Chinese thing, it's one I'm not on board with!!

When I leave the plane I've got 15 hours to whittle away before my last flight .. I hope this airport has some decent shops!
