Today we were in for a (nother) lazy day.
Breakfast was had in house at our guest house restaurant; whats become the usual, a banana pancake for Siobh and a Asian Bahn Mih (meat baguette) for me.
We set up camp for the day on some deck chairs around the pool/next to the sea. The ocean was full of life this morning. The waves were a lot bigger than yesterday and people (inc. us) flocked to the water to be thrown around by them.
Time flew by doing nothing (it's a hard life!).
We walked a little down the road for lunch. It was pretty poor, my chicken leg was raw at the bone and unfortunately the waitress just laughed, as is their laid back and non-apologetic culture. We payed for all but the chicken and left quickly.
The raw chicken was flushed down with a beer in the hope that some alcohol might help kill the bacteria (fortunately no harm was caused).
We had ice creams after and caught up on some TV to check up on the weather/typhoon situation.
Mui Ne has very little to offer in regards to attractions, other than its beach life. Which suits us just fine!
By doing a little research online, we noticed a crazy golf course was only 4km down the road, so we planned to do that later this afternoon, once the temperature dropped.
It was mutually decided that the looser had to buy the dinner. I don't carry any money, as that's Siobhs domain, so it was a win win for me!
Siobh lost (by a close 2 shots!) so as with every other dinner; she payed.
Dinner was found through the back of a surf shop that led to a restaurant on the beach. It was really good with a very cool surf vibe and was made even better with buy one get one free cocktails!
Dinner and cocktails were consumed throughout the rest of the night. The 4km walk home helped work it all off!
