Dear all, Just a quick postcard tonight to let you know I am just back from my tour of the highlands and Orkney islands and had a really wonderful time. We were a group of 17 including our very knowledgeable and humourous guide Jack. We represented 10 different countries which was really great-lots of fun and we had some fantastic evening meals (we cooked together) with Malaysian, Spanish, German and Scottish cuisine to name a few. I'll post more detailed thoughts later when I've had a little time to digest it all-I've learned so much about Scottish history as well as seeing lots of spectacular sights (and yes lots of castles Craig!). love to you all, Sonia ;-)
