Day 229, 18 February 2013, Bratislava, Slovakia. Ahhhh.... it was hard getting up this morning due to most excellent sleep on squishy, cosy Ikea mattresses. We learned to love these from one of our London mates who lent us her bed from Ikea's 'Sultan' range. Have turned bed into our headquarters for the day actually. Caught up on phone calls this morning with family and friends, made it down the road for a cooked breakfast at The Downtown Backpackers most wonderful restaurant. Back to the room for a bath/swim in our massive tub. And now reading and blogging and photos. The sun is shining into our dormer window, the snow is deep on the ground and we will definitely emerge for food again today - and a browse through the back street antique shop next door. Saving the walk along the Danube and Bratislava castle for tomorrow - when we get booted out the door on the button of 11 am!
