Day 152, 3 December 2012, Hemel Hempstead's Old Town. The hard frosts melted away over night and we woke up to pouring rain. Which necessitated an actual lazy day - yay! Day 150, 1 December 2012, Hemel Hempstead (Hertfordshire) - settled a wee while ago in the 8th century. Our exploration of the counties surrounding London continued today. We met a great lady in Jordan in August and headed off to visit her for a few days and catch up on the last few months. Day 149, 30 November 2012, Edinburgh - With our Edinburgh Passes finally expired (£155 of value from £83 spent), we were on our own today and didn't have to check out of the B&B until 11 am. Very slow morning indeed. Blessed with yet another fine, sunny, utterly freezing (0 degrees) day, we headed along the back streets to Charlotte Square and visited the National Trust's Georgian House property - on it's last open day til next March!
